We have successfully survived the first month of the new year 2020! So how are you feeling? Even with some of my struggles this month I’m happy because I survived them. I met 2 goals I set and I had a really big stressor for a few weeks. But the goal that I set for myself actually helped me to get through the stressful time. That was the cool part! When we ask to be strengthened in a particular area that we want to improve on we have to remember that we are actually asking to be “worked on” in that area. And just like when we exercise, the workouts are hard and they make you sore. But as the muscles get stronger so do you in your area of improvement.
One of my mantras is “Anything worth having is worth working for”. And yes I mean anything!
So think of something that you would like to work on. Set yourself a goal (1 day, 1 week, 1 month). No more. And let’s see how you can do. I‘m going to check back on March 2. You have no one to report to but yourself. I’m more proud of myself when I accomplish a goal. And especially if I supersede it and can see the benefits. It’s all for my good and I think I deserve it.
